CFPB Helps Stay-At-Home Customers Obtain Credit Cards

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau announced changes to the requirement in the Credit CARD Act that will allow stay-at-home applicants to qualify for credit cards. The revised rule will allow card issuers to consider third-party income for stay-at-home spouses or partners who are 21 years or older. The amendment applies to all applicants, regardless of marital status, who have access to a working spouse or partner’s income. Click here for more information.
