BB&T’s new mobile check deposit service is available to any BB&T customer that has held a business or consumer account at the bank for at least 90 days. BB&T is offering a free 30-day trial period, after which a service fee of $0.50 per deposit will be imposed. To mitigate risk, the deposits are limited to $2,500 per day, and $5,000 over a 30-day period. The mobile banking application is compatible with any Apple or Android device.
