VyStar Credit Union has teamed up with CBS 47 and FOX 30 to present the VyStar Money Makeover Contest. Contestants will compete over the course of a year to improve their household budgets and their financial bottom line. Four finalists will be selected as TV families to compete for the grand prize of $8,000. All other semi-finalists will compete in the in-branch contest for a $1,000 prize. The prizes for both the TV competition and the in-branch competition will be awarded to the individual or family that shows the greatest percentage increase in their savings and/or reduction of their debt.
