What Our Customers Say
Informa Research Services, Inc. - How You Get Our Research
Informa Research Services offers various delivery options. Many factors affect the selection of a distribution channel, however the driving force is simply what is best for you.
Each client can have a unique solution designed and optimized for reliability, timeliness, and cost savings. You may receive reports or data through the Internet, mail, or by fax.

Internet

The Internet as a channel of distribution is extremely flexible and fast. Using the Internet, you may receive reports or data by email, FTP (File Transfer Protocol), or through our web site.

  • Email is the most popular distribution channel. Email delivery is fast, easily tracked, and low cost in terms of technical support/time. Unfortunately, some research projects result in a file that may exceed your corporate email limits. In this case another distribution channel should be selected.
  • SFTP is used to transfer files over the Internet. Whereas email relies on the sender, SFTP relies on the receiver. Most of our clients that use SFTP distribution do so through arrangements that involve the technical people at their association. Typically, the process is automated through programming.
  • Finally, this website allows our clients to download their research directly. All that is needed is a web browser and Internet access. This method can often bypass email attachment file size limits and allow you to download reports as needed. Some of our clients use this method to maintain a history of reports available.

Mail

We can deliver our research via US Postal Service, UPS, FedEx, etc. While this is not the fastest delivery option, we make this option available to our clients who’s particular needs require the delivery of hardcopy research.

Fax

We currently provide fax delivery of reports (not data) via traditional fax machines or through a computer fax network. Depending on your fax machine, the quality of a computer-generated fax can rival that of a report directly from a laser printer. Every attempt is made to send a computer generated fax, however there are situations where sending from a traditional fax machine produces better results.
