Another top financial portal chooses Informa Research Services
to provide consumer focused bank product data

CALABASAS, CALIFORNIA (April 4, 2004) – Informa Research Services, Inc., today announced an agreement with Internet Broadcasting Systems, Inc. (IBS) to provide a real-time feed of consumer banking product data.  Under the agreement, Informa Research Services will provide the IBS affiliated websites (e.g. WNBC.com [New York], NBC4.tv [Los Angeles], NBC5.com [Chicago], NBC10.com [Philadelphia]) with live rate information on consumer banking products such as checking and savings accounts, CDs, credit cards, auto loans, mortgage loans, less-than-perfect-credit loans, and home equity loans.

“We are pleased to announce another great partnership,” said Michael E. Adler, president and managing director of Informa Research Services, Inc.  “Informa’s efforts on behalf of IBS will enrich each visitor’s experience at over 60 IBS television station websites nationwide.”

“We are excited that our stations’ website visitors will have access to this highly useful consumer financial information,” said Joan Nelson, channel development manager at IBS.  “Informa Research Services is a thoroughly professional data provider and the information they provide helps our affiliates’ website visitors access real-time information they need to make informed financial decisions."

According to U.S. Nielsen, most IBS affiliated TV stations are rated #1 or #2 in their market for news.  Forty-one of these markets, covering 89% of US households, are in the top 50 markets in the nation, according to U.S. Nielsen.

Unlike the other sites that provide bank rates, Informa Research Services does not operate a consumer targeted website.  Informa does not seek consumer traffic and they do not compete with their portal partners for visitors.

“Our partners prefer the way Informa helps to increase their portal traffic using our high quality and popular financial content.  We never compete with them for traffic.  Our approach is to keep the traffic on our partners’ sites.  It’s their clients, they should keep the traffic,” said Adler.
