Fool.com selects Informa Research Services to provide consumer focused bank product data.
CALABASAS, CALIFORNIA (August 12, 2003) -- -- Informa Research Services, Inc. today announced a two-year agreement with The Motley Fool to provide a real-time feed of consumer bank product data for the Fool.com Rate Center. Under the agreement, Informa Research Services (www.informars.com) will provide banking data to help consumers increase earnings or minimize costs on banking products, identify the best offers for them, and apply directly online.

Unlike their competition, Informa Research Services does not operate a consumer targeted website. Informa does not seek consumer traffic and they do not compete with their portal partners for consumer visitors.
“This is the second major portal to switch to Informa in the past month and we have several more that will launch over the summer,” said Adler. “Our partners prefer Informa’s approach to increase their traffic using our high quality and popular financial content. We don’t compete with them for Internet traffic. Our goal is to keep the traffic on our partners’ sites and not ‘steal the eyeballs’ by drawing visitors to the Informa website.”
